Reports To: Director, Product Delivery
Summary
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for supporting both
the Professional Sales function and the Catalog Training Sales
organization in all markets through the structured delivery
of educational products and services.
The PM will analyze custom products sold by the Professional
Sales Group along with the specific client requirements and
lead a team in the delivery of the specialized product. Additionally,
for classes scheduled in the catalog, the D/PM will be responsible
for ensuring the successful delivery of assigned classes.
The PMs primary objectives will be to meet the {client
or scheduled class} specific requirements to the {clients
or students} agreed upon schedule. This primary objective
is paramount to the profitability of any engagement, and therefore
puts a high degree of pressure on the PM to manage the engagement
efficiently.
The PM will also handle logistics, coordinate resources, interface
with the course design and development team, troubleshoot
problems, and perform operational and financial analysis.
This position requires an independent self starter with a
high degree of professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Develops
schedules, and aggressively meets assigned deadlines.
- Interfaces
with clients to define specific project delivery requirements.
- Ensures
that suppliers and consultants can meet project requirements.
- Ensures
that products can be delivered at the assigned facilities
and locations successfully.
- Monitors
class evaluations, and recommends quality improvements.

May assist in modifying products to meet specific market/client
requirement.
- May
provide general product sales support to sales group.
- Adjust
existing products to meet specialized requirements or finds
new products to meet specific client requirements, or contracts
with vendors to meet agreed upon requirements.

Conducts competitive project planning analysis to ensure
engagements are profitable.

Monitors and recommends products that have a higher ratio
of backend consulting services.
- Completes
weekly profit and loss reports.

weekly status reports.
- Completes
weekly work proposals.

Requirements
- 2
Years operational management or project management experience

Demonstrated leadership and professionalism required
- Strong
business analysis, decision making, financial and operational
analysis skills
- Relevant
Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
- Proven
ability and desire to aggressively meet customer requirements
and schedule
- Proven
commitment to customer satisfaction
- Excellent
planning and organizational skills
- Strong
Microsoft Project skills
