                   What
should I look for when choosing a training organization?
First, look for a organization that specializes in the technology
you want to learn. Other things to look for include:

                    - Class
Size - The smaller, the more individual attention the instructor
can give each student. We allow a maximum of 12 students
                      per class.

                    - Training
Facilities - Does each student get their own computer? Are
the facilities up to date and conducive to learning? We
offer each student their own PC in the most up-to-date facilities
                      available.

                    - Costs
                      - How much will the course cost. Our courses are competitively
                      priced.

                    - Location
                      - Of course, it needs to be convenient to get to. We are located
in major downtown locations. Back to

                  Who
                    are the Instructors?
Our instructors are lifelong teachers - men and women who
have mastered technical and management disciplines and practiced
them with distinction in public and private sectors.

                  They are:

                    - Dynamic

                  What
are the advantages of instructor led training?
The main advantage of instructor led training is that the
student gets to interact with the instructor, ask questions,

and ask for further explanation when things are not clear.
Classes also offer a more structured environment; they meet

on a certain schedule with assignments due each class. Many
people find it easier to learn new technologies in this
                    type
of environment compared to trying to learn them themselves.
Another big advantage of instructor led training is the
                    opportunity
to interact with other students that are in the same position
you are. Many students say they learned as much from interacting

and working with the other students in the class as they
did from the instructor (it's also a great place to network). Back

                  What
                    materials do courses include?
Each course includes a specially developed course manual.
Manuals are timely, engaging, and updated continually. Course
content will engage you in thinking about what you do on the
job. Case studies, exhibits, and practical exercises help
reinforce major principles. Back to Top

are typically 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please note: Make your

Heres the background: Federal Workforce Restructuring
Act of 1994 (PL103-226) eliminates distinction between government
and non-government training sources. PL 103-226 also eliminates
eligibility requirements for non-government training. (see
5 CFR Part 410) Government Employees Training Act (PL 85-507,
as amended) enables agencies to sponsor and pay for training
by The Training Institute of Washington, DC and other non-government
                  sources.
                  What
                    about payment, substitutions, and cancellations?

training form (such as the DD-1556 or SF 182), or government or commercial
